Fruits Prone Soft Rot

Bacterial soft rot, commonly caused by dickeya and Pectobacterium species, is knowm to affect a number of Vegetables, Fruits and Ornamentals.

Here is a list of the fruits reported to be affected by soft rot enterobacteriae;

  1. Mango
  2. Avocado
  3. Pears
  4. Pineapple
  5. Red Fruit
